Captured by Hearts of Sage Photography As a Boston engagement photographer, we specialize in capturing the perfect moments at iconic spots around the city.
Ariana and Tyler grew up in the same city, crossing each other’s paths throughout the years through various friend groups, never really connected. One Saturday night changed it all when they caught each other’s attention, and it seemed like fate was playing the role of a savvy Boston engagement photographer in their story!
As their groups blended, Tyler invited Ariana and her friends back to a friend’s house to watch a sports event. At the time, neither of them was thinking about the other in a romantic way. But as the night went on, something shifted. A quiet pull. A spark neither of them saw coming. That night turned out to be the last night they would call themselves single.

By December 1, 2024, Ariana and Tyler had started a tradition—decorating their Christmas tree together to kick off the season. Though Ariana did not grow up celebrating Christmas, this new tradition that started a year ago became a time together she cherished!
That morning they were ready to decorate their tree in their new home together, with their onesies, and good food they began their day together making memories! As they began to decorate the tree they realized their lights were not only a tangled mess but didn’t work. Tyler rushed to the store for new ones to make sure their day was still as magical as they imagined. Tyler brought the new lights home, but they were too short!
Ariana was crushed, their tradition seemed to be ruined with things not going as planned. She stood looking at her lightless tree, defeated and sad. Tyler refused to let the day go without it feeling special. While Ariana looked at her seemingly un-magical Christmas tree, she heard Tyler talking to himself in another room she turned around and with a look she will never forget he dropped to one knee.
Neither of them remembers exactly what was said. But as soon as she saw the ring, Ariana said yes, marking their journey towards a lifelong engagement captured beautifully by a photographer in Boston.

We chose East Boston Piers Park for their engagement session—a waterfront gem with skyline views that feel both iconic and intimate. It was cold that day, but Ariana and Tyler brought the warmth. They laughed, held each other close, and made every moment feel effortless. Their choice of this location was a testament to their trust in a talented Boston engagement photographer.
Sessions like this are what I live for as a photographer. The light was soft, the city was quiet, and their connection was undeniable. Even with frozen fingers, we created something magical. As a Boston engagement photographer, capturing these moments is immensely rewarding.

Ariana and Tyler will be saying “I do” on April 18th, 2026, and I already know it’s going to be such a special day. Their love is the kind that feels grounded, joyful, and meant to last—and I’m so honored to capture the next chapter of their story. Being part of their journey as an engagement photographer in Boston is a privilege.
